Software Mind is seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join a growing QA team at one of our clients. • Flexible schedules and authentic work-life balance

• Opportunities for continuing education

• Social activities per country sponsored by the company

• Birthday celebration

• Payment in US Dollars

About the RoleOur client is a fast-growing fintech platform. You will join as the third member of a two-person QA team, contributing to the full software development life cycle. The role requires working in the CT (Central Time) time zone.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications.

• Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring they are resolved effectively.

• Continuously improve QA processes, frameworks, and best practices.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging QA tools and industry trends.

Requirements:

• +90% English written and oral (B2 level minimum) — strong communication is essential.

• Some coding experience in JavaScript, Ruby, Python, or similar — comfortable writing functions and structuring projects.

• Experience working with GitHub or similar version control tools.

• Strong communication skills: ability to write clear bug reports, reproduction steps, test cases, and root cause analysis.

• Experience working on projects throughout the full software development life cycle.

• Experience using JIRA or other bug tracking / project management tools.
