Terms of Service
Last updated November 1, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Roleway. By using the site, creating an account or posting a job, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Roleway.
1. What Roleway is
Roleway is a job board for remote work. It shows jobs that employers post on Roleway and jobs that we collect from other public job sources. We are not an employer, a recruiter or an agency. We do not hire for the companies listed, we do not take part in hiring decisions, and we cannot promise that any job is still open, accurate or that you will get it.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Give us accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can change your details or delete your account at any time in Settings.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
3. For job seekers
Most jobs send you to the employer's own site or application system to apply. That site has its own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. Be careful with any job that asks you to pay money, buy equipment, or share sensitive documents or bank details. A real job never requires you to pay to apply. If you see something suspicious, report it to us.
4. For employers
If you post a job on Roleway, you confirm that:
- you are allowed to post it on behalf of the company named in the listing;
- the job is real, open and described honestly, including pay and location limits when you state them;
- it does not discriminate in a way the law forbids, and it does not ask applicants for payment;
- it is not a pyramid scheme, a multi-level marketing offer, a scam, or a way to collect personal data.
We review employer listings and may edit, refuse, hide or remove any listing, at any time, for any reason, including when it breaks these terms. Where paid listings are offered, the price and the length of the listing are shown before you pay, and payments are processed by Cladstack through our payment provider, Stripe. If we do not approve a paid listing, the fee is refunded in full. Once a listing is published, the fee is not refundable, except where we remove it because of our own error.
5. Listings from other sources
Some listings are collected from public job feeds and company career pages. We show the source and link back to the original posting. We try to keep them correct and up to date, but we do not control them, and the original posting is always the one that counts. If you are a company and want a listing changed or removed, use the contact page and we will act on it.
6. Company names, logos and trademarks
Company names and logos belong to their owners. We show them only to identify the company behind a job. Their use does not mean that the company has joined, approved or is connected to Roleway. If you own a name or logo and want it removed, tell us and we will remove it promptly. The Roleway name, logo and design belong to us, and you may not use them in a way that suggests we endorse you.
7. Content you provide
You keep ownership of what you give us, such as job listings, company details, profile information and documents. You give us permission to store, show and use it as needed to run Roleway: for example, to display a listing, or to send your application details to an employer when you choose to apply. You confirm that you have the right to share it.
8. Rules of use
Please do not:
- break the law or the rights of others;
- pretend to be another person or company;
- upload harmful code, or try to interfere with or break into the site or other accounts;
- copy the site at scale, or collect data from it with bots or scrapers, without our written permission;
- send spam or unwanted messages to other users or companies through Roleway.
9. Removal requests
If you think something on Roleway is yours, wrong, or harmful, use the contact page. Include the link and who you are. We look at removal requests first and may ask you to confirm that you speak for the company.
10. Disclaimers
Roleway is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that the site will always work without interruption or errors, or that listings are complete, current or suitable for you. We make no promise about any employer, job or hiring result.
11. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Roleway and the people behind it are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost income or lost opportunities arising from your use of the site, or for anything an employer or other third party does. Where the law does not allow a limit, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or zero if you paid nothing.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. When we make an important change, we will update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Roleway after a change, you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Roleway is operated, and courts there decide disputes, unless your local consumer law says otherwise. Questions about these terms: use the contact page. See also our Privacy Policy.
