Privacy Policy

• Account: your email address and password. The password is handled by our sign-in provider and is never stored in readable form.
• Profile (optional): your name, headline, roles and skills you are interested in, education, social links, profile photo and CV.
• Activity: jobs you save, applications you send with your profile, and your email preferences.
• Employers: company details, job listings and the account that created them. Payments are processed by Cladstack through Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
• Messages: what you send through the contact page.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser and pages requested, kept in server logs for security and to keep the site running.

• to run Roleway: sign you in, show your profile, save your jobs, and show your listings;
• to send your application details to an employer, when you choose to apply with your profile;
• to send emails you asked for, such as job alerts, and service messages about your account;
• to review listings, prevent spam and scams, and keep the site secure;
• to understand how the site is used and improve it.

We use strictly necessary cookies: one keeps you signed in, and one remembers your light or dark theme. We also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets its own cookies and receives technical data such as your IP address, device and the pages you view. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with a browser add-on from Google. We do not use advertising cookies.

• Employers: only the information you send when you apply with your profile.
• The public: job listings and company pages are public. Your personal profile is not shown to other people.
• Service providers who help us run Roleway, under their own privacy terms: our database host (Neon), our web host (Vercel), our payment provider (Stripe), our analytics provider (Google Analytics), and our email provider.
• Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect people and the site.

We do not sell your personal information.

Our providers host data in the United States, so your information may be transferred there. We keep your account and profile until you delete your account. Job listings are removed some time after they close. We keep contact messages and basic records for as long as needed to answer you and to meet legal duties.

• Change your profile, email settings and password in Settings.
• Delete your account in Settings, under Personal info. This removes your login, profile, saved jobs and applications.
• Ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, or to object to how we use it, through the contact page. Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the Brazilian LGPD give you these rights.
• Unsubscribe from emails with the switches in Settings, or the link in the email.

We use encrypted connections, restrict who can reach the data, and rely on trusted providers. No system is perfectly safe, so please use a strong, unique password.

Roleway is not for people under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
